Children are encouraged to participate, make predictions and discover surprising results as the demonstrations unfold.
The emphasis is on fun, curiosity and audience participation rather than a traditional classroom science lesson.
It’s a great choice for vacation care coordinators wanting to offer something different during the school holidays.
The Science Show runs for approximately 45 minutes and is designed to entertain groups of children together.
Balloon Twisting Workshop
Big, bright, colourful, creative and completely hands-on!
Magic Glen’s Balloon Twisting Workshop is a fun, interactive activity for vacation care and OSHC groups, particularly suited to children aged 6–13.
Unlike a traditional balloon-twisting performance, this workshop teaches children how to twist balloons themselves.
The children start by learning some simple balloon creations, including:
- Balloon animal dogs
- Balloon swords
- Balloon belts
- Creative and colourful balloon hats
After learning the basics, children are encouraged to use their imagination to design their own unusual, funny and colourful balloon creations.
The Balloon Twisting Workshop is a 45-minute hands-on activity that encourages creativity, participation and learning new skills.
Participant limits apply to ensure the children can properly take part in the activity.
One of the highlights is the colourful balloon hat parade, where children can proudly show off their creations. It’s also a fantastic opportunity for group photographs.
This is a hands-on workshop where the children make their own balloon creations, rather than a balloon-twisting service.
For vacation care coordinators looking for a creative, energetic and memorable school holiday activity, the Balloon Twisting Workshop is a great option.
Magic Workshop
Give the children the chance to become the magician!
Magic Glen’s hands-on Magic Workshop is a fun and interactive activity for vacation care and OSHC school holiday programs.
Instead of simply watching a magic performance, children get the opportunity to learn, practise and perform some simple magic tricks themselves.
Magic Glen guides the children through a selection of beginner-friendly tricks, encouraging them to participate, develop confidence and enjoy learning something new.
Children can practise their new skills and share the magic with friends, making the workshop an engaging and memorable school holiday activity.
This is a participatory workshop where children learn magic, rather than a traditional stage magic show.
It’s a great option for vacation care coordinators looking for a creative activity that combines entertainment, learning and plenty of fun.
Bubble Workshop
Hands-on bubble fun, creativity and discovery!
Magic Glen’s Bubble Workshop offers a fun and interactive activity for vacation care and OSHC school holiday programs.
Unlike the Giant Bubble Show, where children enjoy watching a performance, the Bubble Workshop gives children the opportunity to participate directly in bubble activities.
Children can explore different bubble effects, experiment with bubble-making techniques and discover some of the fascinating things bubbles can do.
The workshop encourages curiosity, creativity and hands-on participation, making it an engaging activity for school holiday groups.
This is a participatory workshop rather than a traditional stage show.
It’s a great choice for vacation care coordinators looking for an unusual, interactive activity that combines entertainment, exploration and plenty of bubble fun.
